Anyone Want Some KoubaLink KLX3 - 1.125"
I decided to go back to stock on my suspension height, so I pulled my Kouba KLX3 links off. They are in great shape if anyone is interested in them. If you want them, shoot me a PM and make an offer. I don't expect to get too much for them sincecompeting products are now available on Ebay and RockyMountainATV, but if anyone wants them for some reasonable amount, they are yours. I will charge actual shipping costs instead of some inflated S&H.
If I don't get any bites here, then I will list them on Ebay and hopefully some KLX300 person will go for them.
Pics available. I am at work right now, though, so it will have to be later if there is interest.

I just decided that I would live with not being able to almost flat foot at stops to get the extra suspension travel back. One other thing that I got back when I went back to stock that I had forgotten about was how much lower the bike leans onto the kickstand with the stock dogbones. One of the reasons that I went with the lowering links in the first place was to help with getting on and off. Now that I am back at stock, I think it is actually a touch easier to get on and off with the stock dogbones because the bike sits at a greater angle on the stand. All in all, I have just gotten more comfortable on the bike so I can handle a little taller bike better now versus before when I felt like I needed the security of both feet firmly on the ground at stops.

Lowering Links
Hi all,
Could somebody explain to me why lowering links are needed? It looks to me that the front fork can be raised a lot in the clamps, and the rear preload adjustment can be made to have a rest position some inches lower.
Sorry if my question looks obvious, I am new to dual sport. I bought a new 07 KLX last fall and I am just starting to ride it.
