Yep. So far that's been a total non-issue for me. The two little waterproof DC fans I put on in place do just fine. They've never run for more than 60 seconds.

I understand if you don't need the range it may not be worth the hassle.

 

yea, maybe down the road some but not right now... i dont think my fan has ever even come on...

 

The only time mine comes on is bushwhacking ... riding where there is no trail and the going is slow and tough. Other than that, never.

 

yea im usually blasting down the trail, so i get lots of air movement.... lol... maybe thats y my kenda270 is wearing out already,,, too much spinning...
