It would be nice to have a bike like that (huge tank...long range) for the road and some dirt road, good trail exploring, but only being 5 foot 6 inches tall, I'd have to keep the tank full orI wouldn't be able to reach the ground...I guess I'd know when I was running low on fuel..lol

RE: anyone see a Kawasaki ALR600?
well this is what a guy told me who is a local cop.....
"Most likely this is the deal: the VIN is going to come back to the original owner, whoever that was? The title was probably never transferred from the original owner. I am told, it was illegal for this seller to buy/trade that bike without the correct title work being done. Therefore, it would be illegal for you to buy this bike without the title work, it would also be illegal for him to sell you this bike without the title work. But, let's say you purchased it and then applied for a title. It will take months to get it, especially if/when the VIN on this bike comes back already titled to someone else. PA DOT is gonna want an explanation from that guy.
You getting a title for this would be a huge PITA."
So i think im gonna let it pass.... that no title thing is bad.....

I didn't know they had 650's in the early 80's. 600's from 83 to 92. They did make a NX650 in 1987. Then the first 650's that I know of were the XR 650L's om 1993. The XL's from 1983 to 1986 were all basically the same only different color scheme. They are very tempermental about starting, but run stronger than most big bore bikes in there day.
