Default Anyone running non-dot tires.

I am in need of tires and rocky mountain is back ordered on trackmasters(Thanks Finger, lol)
I think that I am going to a non dot tire this time around but am undecided on what to run.

The Trackmasters wear out so quick anyway I don't think that an offroad tire will wear any worse on the road and should be a lot better off road.

Just looking to see if any others are running off road only tires and what kind of terrain do you ride.

I run irc tires for sand and mud, I ride in all sand and I'll never go back to a dot tire. I got them from rocky mountian atv.

I see that you're in Penn. Don't have a clue what your off-road conditions and weather are like but here in central Wa. I use Maxxis IT Desert tires on hardpack/sharp, broken rock conditions and fair weather and these tire do quite well. MUCH better than the stock Dunlop's! Happy trails!

I'm looking at ordering a new front tire and was going to go with a non-dot, I was looking at probley getting a D739. I ride offroad most of the time and only go on the road a couple miles to get to my track, its mostly hard pack but can get loamly when its wet.

I was also thinking about the desert IT's. There are a lot of rocks around here, and i thought that the desert might hold up a little better on the street.

The tread pattern on the IT's look a lot like the Trackmasters.
