Hello all,
Taking a road trip for a week up north. I was looking for info on places to ride and also camp(not campgrounds just woods). My intinerary is wide open as far as state is concerned. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey LKNY,I live in southern maine and our fav trip is through NH white mtns and camp on rt 113 which is the kangamangus Hwy,they have plent of small camp lots along the river but no utilities and the river is wayyyy too damn cold this time of yr to bathe in it

 

The 18 mile coastal ride through NH along the ocean is nice as long as you continue the trip up through to LL BEANs in freeport,ME Bar Harbor this time of yr has all kinds of things going on and the lobster is always fresh

 

yes been up there many many times. i was looking for a little more remoteness...like the north woods...too bad they don't like bikes! as for the river...who needs more than a head dunk....you can always take a weekly shower at pinkham nitch

 

Colebrook and pittsburg NH are remote,We take trips to stratford NH and ride the wheelers for a weekend.

 

Limestone,Maine is a very nice area to ride and the PD even rides atv's on the streets

 

Forgot to mention the allagash area,I know northern Maine because I moved from there 25 yrs ago and still take trips backto ride with old friends and it never gets old.

 

isn't the kanc RT 112?
