Anyone know if KLX300 airbox will fit 07 KLX250s?
One of the bolts that holds my airbox up seems to have backed out. Because of that, the airbox settled down about a half inch, and right onto my FMF Q4 pipe.. Got a burn hole about the 4" long, and 2" wide through the airbox now..
Checking ebay I see a lot of KLX300 airboxes.. They look similar, look like they'd fit, but I'm not 100% sure.. Does anyone know?
$30 ebay box is better than $90 OEM box!!

Yes. Our AUS bikes (KLX250R) come with the same airbox and airboot as the KLX300R. Straight swap. It's an easier swap too as the airboot is soft rubber and not hard plastic. This makes it much easier when you remove the carb'. Better flow than the "square" 250S boot too.

Hmm.... now this makes me wonder because the boot to my box on my 07" is neither square, nor hard.... is it possible I got one with the 300 airbox? I can't think I'd be that lucky.
