anyone have leftover links?
I put on a 45-tooth rear sprocket and the oem chain won't fit like I thought it may. I'm having trouble finding half links as no one sells them and my local bike shop just had a non o-ring half link. If anyone has any way of taking a few out of their oem chain they're not using or any means to acquire such a thing I would be interested or willing to pay you for your goods. As it sits right now, my bike has the new rear sprocket with the stock chain wrapped around it but there's one problem, there's 2 ends right now and I need 2 links to fill the gap along with another master link.
A new chain from denniskirk.com, a partsunlimited o-ring is gonna run around $58. I don't want to buy a new chain just for a few links. Any help is greatly appreciated, if not that's fine too. Thanks

RE: anyone have leftover links?
well, i read somewhere that if your bike came with an o-ring chain, you must use that as a replacement. I don't know, but I ordered a parts unlimited x-ring which is better than o-ring and it was only $60 shipped. don't know who makes it for them, but it's tensile strength was higher than renthal, rk, etc for half the price. i should get it tomorrow and then take my ride out with the 13/45 teeth combo. i've heard this is the sweet setup for the klx. it should wheelie easier anyways.
