Thanks man. I miss writing them up, I always found that kind've fun. I doubt there'd be much interest in seeing the KTM stuff here, though. [&:] I do one occaisonally on KTMTalk or TT in the KTM section.

This one changed from a mean clean street machine to a dirt dog in about thirty seconds.
Pro circuit pipe, Maier fender, Renthal bar's make it a little different,
The little hole in the side of the fender is that where the turn signals mount? I really like the looks with the rack gone but, I use the rack all the time when i pick the bike up after crashing in the sand. So i could either leave the rack or not crash!

The hole is for a mounting bracket that comes with the fender,
but it interfered with a bracket i made for my turn signals so i couldn't use it,i intend to put a small chrome screw in to fill the hole.
Get the new fender and test fit it if you need to drill some new hole's for the rack it's no big deal.
Personally i like the idea of not crashing.......Good Luck.

But then I really picked up the pace and got busy. In only one day, I totally transformed the trusty green machine into the bodacious orange:

XC 3.4 gallon tank
Renazco seat
Akrapovic titanium slip-on
James Dean Jet Kit and accelator pump diaphram
final drive gearing
KTM hard parts hand guards
Woody's Wheel Works superlaced cush-hub rear wheel
home spun radiator overflow tank
KTM foldable mirrors
Hard Parts skid plate
STR clutch slave cylinder guard
Enduro Experts carbon fiber exhaust guard
Touratech bar risers
Sicass Racing light switch
Sicass Racing low-profile signal lights
Wolfman Toolkit
KTM radiator fan (to be installed)
Any long distance/duration reviews of the Renazco seat yet? I will probably send mine in this winter, but was wondering about your longer term impressions. I've heard they need a bit of a break-into achieve full comfort.

Yeah, that's what James told me also. Even so, I thought it was comfortable right out of the box and I think it might be even more so now, so some break-in does help. I don't ride a lot of pavement, usually just to and from the trails. Where I would notice discomfort would typically be the pavement ride home after several hours of riding the trails. That might typically be anywhere from 5 to 50 miles for me. But it wouldn't take long to the point where I would be squirming on the stock seat trying to find some comfort. But the Renazco is no problem - feels great, no discomfort at all for me.

I should mention that I never had discomfort when off-road, even on the rock hard KTM stock seat. I guess you just naturally move around a lot while riding off-road and it never becomes a problem. The discomfort was only on the pavement on the way back home. Renazco seat is the answer.
