No offense taken at all. Just sayin it's ALL good. Get what you like and will use and enjoy.I happen to like the stock bag cause it's handy and I tend to pack for two weeks just for a day ride know what I mean? I also add a fender bag out front. Again not offended at all we're cool.

Well this is what the area looks like with the helmet lock removed. Pretty beefy slice of metal, albeit not very big (if that makes sense). Not alot of room forward to the puke bottle, maybe could make something off-centered towards the rear.

(I like how my retarded camera focused on the wall behind the bike. Oh Canon Powershot...)

There is a mod on ADV.RIDER where they move the puke bottle up behind the left side radiator. Looked too complicated to me but you might have alook at it. That would free up more room by the helmet lock. With my lack of comp. skill I can't post a link so your left searching sorry

I have idea..
Yeah, I know..
Not the best, but if you wanted it on the bike alwayse.. If you found a way to mount the bag in the air box. It's a little silly because there is 6 bolts you need to take out to get at it, but it's a thought. Better than ditching the bag altogether, maby weld some tabs on the airbox screws so they could be hand tightened.. And then you'd just need an 8mm socket to get the seat screws off..
