dont relly like the off sizes 18/21

 

The nice part of having an 18/21 combo is you can swap the street tires for dirt anytime you want....works great when you are on a budget and can't get another set of wheels to keep laying around.another set of wheels (stock or 17's) is pretty salty.

 

i don't see anything wrong with 17's thats the wheel size on my zx6r

 

It's slim pickins for knobbies in the 17 size though....that's the only problem.If you never hit dirt then why have a KLX?.....

 

thats when you swap over to stock wheels - i guess if you ran 17's then you'd have to change the suspension so not easy swapping back and forth.

 

no...you can run the same suspension with no problem.....It's the cost of buying those nice 17" Excel rims and Talon hubs that will hurt you....not to mention the rubber stretched around those nice black rims.....and gold hubs....and Bulldog spokes.....
