Default Any KLX's going to Bike Week in Daytona Beach?

Just a quick note to see if anyone is heading down for Bike Week..?

I've been thinking of trailering down and setting up camp when i get there.

Took my Cbr-929 there in 2002, 2003, 2004 and i can tell you that riding on the beach is lots of fun and daytona is a great time all day long.

I guess it's no big deal for some of you west coast folks, but for us up here in the great white north, its a great way to start the season early.

In any event i just wanted to check in and see if anyone else is thinking of going...?

Not going, but would love it if you post up some pics of your trip once you get back. Have fun, stay safe.

Default Pix from Bike Week

Lots to do down there although i mostly stuck to the sportbike stuff...

Took my CBR down the quarter mile at OSW in orlando...

Mainstreet rocks with bikes 24/7, met Indian Larry, toured MMI campus, road on the beach, got invited to private stunt practice session, hung out at the Hess gas station, went to the bank of Blues almost every night.

most here use photobucket...I think its the image code you use from there to copy...then you click on the mountain icon above and erase the http from the window and paste the image code in its place. Hope that helps

I try to avoid that event like the plague .... but I'm a local

Years back it was way cool, but now it seems like it is mostly posers that trailer their bike over and are not actual riders....some are the real thing, don't get me wrong, but way too many yuppies now for me.

I'd rather be in the woods just to the west in the Ocala National Forest...just sayin
