Default Any EFI gurus?

Looking for some info on 2018 EFI system KLX250 250 trying to figure out how to tune with EJK controller in Barker exhaust. I know this new fuel injection supposedly has new maps 10 whole injector in the 34 mm throttlebody

Set up the EJK on a dyno - It should take less than a hour of dyno time and the tune will be absolutely correct. Tell them you want (at WOT) 12.75:1 across the rpm range..
If you are running a lidless airbox, the Barker system (header and slipon) and proper EFI tuning will turn your bike into a 100+ mph "animal"..

No No to the Harley Dealership idea...

You will need to find a performance shop with a DynoJet dyno - and its' AFR module... Tell them exactly what you have and what you want done - I suggest you tell them you want what I suggested to you in your other thread..

the ejk controller is only an enrichener, and only in three specific bands based on existing pulse width. its design is based on the assumption that the stock map will only need enrichment, and only in really large areas.. this is usually a bad assumption on most modified bikes. it's definitely not something a dyno tuner will like working with. try dialing up a bit of fuel in areas where it seems a bit down on power

Yep, the EJK is primitive. Nope, not the way dyno tuning with the EJK works - while running on the dyno with various loadings and throttle positions, the tuner is constantly monitoring AFR. He'll use the dials on the EJK to tweak out any leanness as best as the device will allow..

FIrst is WOT testing and tweaking, getting that dial "right",.... Then the rest based on varying the drum loading on the engine and using various RPM points - which is where a good tuner can be magical in short order - a dumb tuner will take twice as long for barely acceptable results..

From EJK site EFI Controllers - Electronic Jet Kit - Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, Sportbikes, Snowmobiles, Watercraft, Dirt Bikes will at the least give you a starting point. Power Commander does offer a map for the euro KLX and it's definitely more tunable.

Removing the lid will require a tweaking of the EJK programming..
