another option
does anyone on here have the two brothers slipon exhaust? i just ordered one from morepower racing for 313.00 no tax and free shipping. doesnt seem to interfere with the passenger peg as there is a pic of the exhaust installed on our bike. i really liked the looks and the dyno chart they provide on the two brothers website shows like a 3 hp increase which is nice for a slip on. just wondering about there quality so if anyone has any experience with this pipe good or bad let me know. and here is my chic pic for the day, wish i was the dog.

well, all i got to say is it better be gold plated for that price. jeesh. my FULL SYSTEM, kick ****, makes more documented horsepower on this forum than any other pipe,sounds like a friggin mad rottweiller BigGun only cost around $75 more!!!
look, their slip-on is a beautiful piece I'll admit, but really, you need to switch out the header also to really open the bike up. do the homework or research if you don't believe me. the 300 and 250 headers are so tiny the bike can't get enough air out. so even though you are doing a good thing by losing weight and freer flowing and better sound, you're still limiting yourself from a full system. but congrats on the new slip-on.

Sombody from this forum has one on their bike already. A search should bringup the info. He says it's very good quality,fits welland looks great.. The only negative (depending upon what you want) is that it's a little on the loud side (about 100db).
It's definitely the best looking slip-on available for this bike, IMO.

Performance with these pipes is about the same across the board and I'd go so far as to say there is no practical difference between them from a performance standpoint. Except for yours tremor38 - that thing is kickass.

LOL, please guys, do not start sodomizing rear ends with each others tongues. your "dyno" run in below 0 weather is forever noted on here that you didn't even agree or believe the numbers were accurate- let's see, it said your pretty much stock bike (piped, jetted) put out more power than a big bore with cams, porting, and a pumper? something still doesn't mesh with that dyno report.
your jap pipe may be exclusive to you since, well, you live there. but i'd put my BG against your whatever it is any day on every aspect of performance and sound. in the end, we all know it's pretty much an off-brand wtih japanese writing on it that makes you think it's so cool. some people just do not like to hear the truth. come on brian, fess up at least once in your lifetime that you could be wrong or outwitted on something. jetting isn't always going to make more power, it will just deliver power better.
