Default another exhaust question

I am going to be ordering a FMF Q4 this friday for my 06 250s. I want to know if I will actually notice a power gain without re-jetting the carb. I am waiting until end of summer to do any other mods cause I wanna ride not work on the bike. but I am getting this muffler for super cheap and couldnt pass this up.

Do the carb and enjoy the response and power. Follow other members recamondations its fairly in expensive and well worth it.

I wouldn't do the exhaust without jetting at the same time.

Without the chocked up stock exhaust you'll be flowing more air out but without getting more air/fuel in you probably won't feel much increase. It'll sound great but that's about it.

Jetting doesn't take too long so you wont miss too much riding.

From what I understand you can jet without exhaust (that's what I did at first), but you can't exhaust without jet. I noticed more of a power increase from the rejet than I did from a full FMF w/Powerbomb but that's just me. Some people report that the exhaust made a huge difference. The SOUND definitely makes you feel like you've got more powre so that has to count for something!
