Another Boring Utah Trip

BTW - you suck! Came all that way and didn't even invite me...??? What's up with that? I can get hurt as well as the next guy! I could have been there in 4 hours...
Nice pics, and thanks for sharing. Someday I'll make it down that way, seeing as it's only a few hours from home for me. Just have so many things going on with trying to get a lawn put in... and with the wonderful sequester, it looks like my paycheck will be very light for the next few months. Maybe next spring...???

Hey...the more the merrier. While I do enjoy some solitude, you can tell from the group pic that I do enjoy the fellowship of other crazy people who enjoy off roading. Utah is unique. You have a great place to live IMO.

I ride a lot more in the northern part of the state... mainly the same trails I take my snowmobiles on, so I'm getting to know the area a lot better. I did a 120 mile camp trip (camping off the bikes) with a buddy last year. Did some real ugly stuff with the bikes fully loaded. Stopped at an intersection and some guys came through on a UTV and told us we'd never get through the trail. We said "What do you mean? That's the way we came from!!!" Had a great time, lots of beautiful scenery through the woods and up to the Bear Lake region. Takes you right into Idaho if you're so inclined (no pun intended)...
If you're ever up my way, give me a shout. I'd be happy to show you around...

I love that part of the country - I already have some dirt near Bryce Canyon NP picked out for when I retire (only 28 years to go, but who's counting)
I'll be heading there for the Fourth of July.
