Default Angels Crest & Rowher backdoor

I had the day off so called up my DRZ buddy and went for a ride. We rode angels crest hwy to palmdale and then cut in thru the back of rohwer flats OHV. The dirt was great after the rains yesterday and lots of big puddles to play in. 9 hr ride, 190 ish miles. Defiantly getting an IMS tank after todays ride.

ride days always start with a cup of coffee and inspiration

small road off the 2

pretty cool stray dog at the gas station in palmdale

getting bored on HWY 2 had to get off the pavement

fist gate to Rohwer was tripple black diamond and all mud uphill, we decieded to find another entrance

one of the deer from the pack that scattered when we were coming down the trail

Thanks Dan! I got out today too. Rode PCH from santa monica to point magu and then into deer canyon. I wasn't planning on finding trails so it was a little scary riding in hightops, glad i found the spot though!

Hah sometimes I forget those actually exist. Best we get here are amber waves of grain or catastrophic floods. Enjoy it!

Default 109 more miles today

Went back to Rowher Flats and rode some of the lower trails i havent been on yet. Used the temporary ziptie GPS mount wich was cool. UPS guys just dropped off my IMS tank so as soon as im done posting these pics im running down to my garage

Fun stretch with some little jumps.
