AMA membership benefits?

AMA membership benefits?
Recently rejoined the AMA in order to compete in the local district races. Had one in the past from '85-91 then '96-7. But let it lapse. As I remember getting a monthly magazine and a yearly pin. But other than that I really don't remember that membership was all that of a benefit. Sure they look out for out rights to ride on road, but they didn't even mention our upcoming district races in the magazine.
What are the AMA benefits for your area any different?

I got a $10 gift card for BikeBandit, and AMA members get a 10%? discount on purchases at Bike Bandit. Not a huge benefit because Bike Bandit seems higher than some places like RMATV. I joined to be able to ride in certain events, and I guess to help support efforts to keep riding areas open. If you choose, the AMA will send you notices of important upcoming legislation, along with a form letter and link to email it to your representatives. I've sent a couple of emails off to my politicians.
My AMA membership will pay for itself this year. $10 gift card at BB, and discounted entry fees to some of the events I ride will add up to the $40 annual fee.

I used to chuckle whenever I saw an off-road machine with an AMA sticker, and I used to give my duo-sport riding buddy a hard time for having a membership for his BMW 650GS until he got a front flat when we were riding a logging trail. We were lucky to have cell reception and after calling AMA, a flat bed truck was out to pick him up within 3 hours. After that experience, my opinion has changed a little!

Magazine currently does cover AMA sactioned events state by state, and nationally.
If you sign up for automatic renewal, you get free roadside assistance for all your vehicles, not just your bike(s). I used this one when my pickup broke down at night 20 something miles from home...one phone call and my truck and I got a free ride home. Payed for my membership several times over right there.
Recently, AMA seems to be increasing focus on off-road issues, as well as on-road.
Opportunity to enter in myriad on and off road events.
I've been a member 9 years (?) running, and I'm pleased about all of them.
