Default Almost time for a new season!

Well, after a spectacular winter here in Michigan ( which is still well under way,With4 to8 feet on the ground and plowed up to the power lines in the U.P. I've put thousands of miles on my new sled, and thousands of dollars in the gas tank.

The death knell is coming upon us, strong midday sun. It looks to be over this week in the southern lower, and thenorthern lower has until the end of march, and then it's legally over, although there will still be good riding in the woods.

Sigh, I LOVE the change of seasons!

While I have been lurking frequently it's time to start thinking about summer goodies, and new doo dads. First being a Utah skidplate, (I have bounced some big rocks off the motor racing down railroad tracks)then a 300 kit and then this and that, jeez I spend alot of money on this stuff!

But anyways, I look forward to all the info, technical help and friendly banter.

I've put some miles on my sleds too. Been riding the ktm around the yard but the trails would be nice, not to much longer but hopefully some more sled riding yet. Michigan to, up north and S/E mi got a place in both.

I miss the whole snowmobile thing. I am originally from Wisconsin. That was fun bar hopping.

I would shoot myself if I lived somewhere that had that much snow for that long. We get snow once or twice a year and it usually only lasts for 2-3 days.

We just got dumped on with some more snow this weekend, opened my front door and it was knee deep on the steps and had drifted up the windows of my car. Lovely for the second week of March....and to think in 2006 I bought my bike and was riding it the first week of April..... Whole different ballgame this year.....

I told my dealer to have my bike ready on the 25th, because it's coming out of storage come h*ll, highwater or even snow on the sides of the road. There's no more waiting in me!
