All busted up

I'll answer a question with a question. Shouldn’t a good quality chain remember the shape of the sprockets, even off the bike? My chain says to the world “I RIDE this bike, it’s no trailer queen!” Besides, those cheap, greasy ones just go every which way, all wompus and out of control.
Seriously though, it is what I would describe as “at the end of its useful life” but my chain budget went to buy the new cover. It got a good power wash, a good lube, and looks nearly good as new now. It’ll last me a few more rides.
