Anyone know where I could find an all black seat cover? I thought I saw a post on here that someone went with an all black seat but I can't find it?

 

i don't have one, but have seen them on ebay for around $35

 

I bought a black "ceet cover" from rocky mountain.

That's what I'm looking for, I can't find a price for it though and I don't think they ship to Canada.

I haven't looked for seats myself, so I don't know if the KLX300 seat works for our bikes or not. If they do, then one of these might work for you -

The second one has a green accent in the picture, but the text says the seat is all black.

I was looking at that first one on Ebay but it says it only fits 1994-2003, I don't know if it changed at all in 2006.

 

I could be wrong, but I don't think they have changed. The answer will lie with sullydirt.

Sully, do you have the model number for the seat you bought from RockyMountain. I am betting that the Ceet model #KLX200 is the one that fits all years of the KLX300.

Of course, I don't have anything to base this on.

UPDATE: I just checked the 2001 and 2005 model years for the seat at rockymountainatv.com. It says the KLX300 for both years would take the Ceet model #KLX200. My guess is that sullydirt got this model number Ceet cover.

 

I did buy the one that was for a 2005 KLX300. I don't recall the part #, but that must be it.

 

As an update for anyone looking for an all black seat cover, I did some checking with some vendors selling them on Ebay.

I called a vendor in WV and was able to get the All Gripper Ceet cover in solid black (exactly what I wanted) for $35 + $5 s&h. They also had the smooth version (standard) for $30 + $5 s&h. You might be able to do a little better if you look hard enough, but this was about the best I have found for Ceet brand covers.
