Walmart has Fram filters. O ring included. Part no. CH6015 look here http://www.power-21.com/HoneywellPow...cycle_1211.pdf
I think it was a little over $5.

It's kinda sad seeing the klx on its side. Looks like a dead horse laying there.

If you used a rubber hammer to get it on, I wonder how hard it will be to get off.
For what its worth, I have been buying K&N oil filters for my bike, They don't come
with the O-ring but they are synthetic, I guess that means the filter down to like
1 or 2 microns, something like that. They are 10 bucks at Schucks.

I used to use the Fram filters that come with the O ringbecause my local Auto Zone used to keep them in stock. I know others on here have had good luck with them but for some unknown reason I could never get them to seal. I must have tried three different ones that all leaked. I wound up just throwing the O rings away and using stock ones.Never had a problem with a stock O ring. My Auto Zone no longer stocks the filters so now I use HiFlo or stock filters and always keep a spare O ring on hand.

Crap!!! good point, I didn't think that far ahead. Hopefully it will come off with a little encouragement. That's why I didn't cancel the order of the three 0-rings from the bike shop, I want it back to the way it was designed to be.

Next timeDeej, use a filter that comes with a o-ring. I use the Fram CH6015.

As for the filter spring. Take a pair of pillers and expand one end of the spring slightly. I've done it and now oil changes are easier than ever.
