How often do you clean the air filter on your KlX 230/300? Is every 2,000 miles or 6 months okay? A mix of dusty roads/trails and no dust roads/trails. But no rides where it’s constant dusty, just some rides where it’s intermittent.

 

I look at mine when I do a oil change..If you ride all the time off road you may want to take a look every month..they don’t get that dirty

 

Every month or two take a look and if it's dirty, clean it. Maybe have two filters, have a clean one oiled up and in a large sealable plastic bag. No waiting for cleaning, drying, and reoiling, put it off for later after putting the spare one in.
