air filter fitting

Even just off the top of my head, I can say that it would be highly unlikely. It would be sheer dumb luck if anything but a few standard type parts, like a handlebar, tire, etc. would interchange. I can guarantee that the exhaust wouldn't fit...without some decent fabrication. What's wrong with the OEM KLX250/300 air filter?...or is there another reason you ask?

Does the KLX300(all) and KLX250S('06-'07) not fit the later KLX250's anymore? Did they change something in the air filter shape/design? I wasn't aware of that. I'm wondering if something is wrong on the K&N fitment site, because UNI and some of the other air filters show the same filter for all KLX250's of all years as well as the KLX300. Those are foam filters of course, so something in the attachment setup may indeed have changed. Still, I'd ask around here on the site some more. I've not heard of this change.

I dont want a Uni, I want a K&N filter. I entered a different year KLX (07) and was able to find a K&N filter. The picture looks like it would work, can anyone confirm if 07-10 are interchangeable? The part number is KA-1287

You know, you might look in Bike Bandit and see if the OEM filter cage and filter are the same part # for '06/'07 and the '09 and later models. If it is, you're pretty much guaranteed that a K&N for a KLX300 and KLX250S ('06/'07) will fit all the later models too.
