air box mod?
So is any one cutting their air box lid or are you removing it all together?
I've been away from bikes for a while, but we use to remove a large chunk for plactic )4"x5" out of them and glue down a breathable fabric to keep sticks and leaves out......some guys would just drill 6 or so 1" holes in them so what are guys doing these days to get more air in there?

Most of us either A. Remove the lid completely, B. Remove just the snorkle from the lid, or C. Upgrade the snorkle to the ones used on the KDX. I went with C. . I want to keep the snorkle for the ocasion water crossing, but an added benefit was it also kept intake noise down while increasing air flow from the stock snorkle.

Yo Bweekly,
The DynoJet Kit recommended for our bikes is the one used on the KLX300.. it says to remove the lid completely... also the "freemods" section on the planet KLX website recommends to cut away the backfire screen under the air filter pad, cap off emissions, etc.
