air box lid question...

RE: air box lid question...
I know I have said this and sound like a broken record, but to date I think I have the largest jets. 132 and 40 and running no lid, 13-45 gears and I get a constant 60 mpg. Oh and the power is out of this world.......well not compared to the DRZ 400 I rode, but that's another story. But I absolutely love my bike, and would not trade it for anything.

RE: air box lid question...
correct. you can get a dyno jet kit and this allows you to do this. there is a stage I and II. Stage two allows you to take the air box lid off. they supply everything. good luck. just an offer.

Not sure about that one Deej!
I'm running 138 main and 40 pilot with no airbox lid, Keihin jets though (OE.)
I get plenty of snap too.
Are yours OE or DJ?
How do the sizes compare?
