After all the decisions, and then purchasing, then waiting for it to arrive, I have my new 07 KLX. I have been trying to be soft on it, get the miles on it, break it in right. I have about 250 easy miles on it
My first impressions are,
1. The seat blows
2. Needs some more fire in the belly.
3. Its so easy to ride and manuver
4. Its exactly what I was looking for
5. With some good mods, this baby will turn into my daily commuter ride, as well as my weekend toy.
Perfect.
I spent some time on the trails this weekend, and must say, stock aint so bad for a newbie. Add some firepower and this little bike will get it done. Its sprung a little to soft for my fat azz, but I see I can buy a heavier rear spring.
First mods will be a new seat, some hand guards, 13 tooth front, and then a pipe and jet kit. I will suffer till 1000 miles, then knowing its broken in I will dial it in.

Great choice of bike man!!! Your going to enjoy it for sure. Take the snorkel off the airbox, its a quick easy mod and is worth it. I have ordered a slipon for my bike and am waiting patiently for it to arrive via post, cant wait. ENJOY!
