Thanks for all the great comments.
I understand that confidience inspiring slogan now. On the way back from lunch I went over a road that really sucks, bumpy and pot holed. I'm used to it on the KLX.
It was pretty smooth on the GS
I doubled the odometer at lunch today - 46 miles now.
Still love it.
I like the Bumble Bee comparison.
Deej, I have the GPS (I got the Nuvi 500 on sale last weekend - the kids and I did a couple GeoCashe finds - Thats fun!).
Hard cases will come later. My goof-around "piggy bank" is much lighter and easier to carry now.
JP and BP we'll have to go KLX riding soon, but my shoulder still needs a few more weeks before I hit the trail. Street is ok... Gettin' old sucks.
Dan888 - .... shhhhhh
I was told that the F800GS has tubes. The tire says "Tubeless", i[m guessing there is a tube in there, otherwise it would leak through the spokes.. right...
A question for the ADV Beast Guys... Really.
I just wondered if anybody buys "tubeless" tires and tubes them on the KLX?

Congrats on the new bike, they really are amazing machines!
Took the wife for a 250 mile mountain twisty ride on my F800 yesterday. Plenty of power and excellent braking. Got 66mpg too!
Don't forget to show the KLX some love!

Warski: How was it two up? Did she complain after 250 miles? Did you complain, I have not sat on my stock seat that long yet.
I am going white Water Rafting on the Forks of the Kern. We decided to ride up. So I'll take it ~200 miles up to Lake Isabella on friday the 5th then goof off for the first weekend in June and ride the 200 miles back on Sunday. I'll have a distance opinion then for sure...
But I love it! I am trying to share the love equally with all three toys. The newest always seems to get more attention at first.
I do like those Steelers Colors

I'm only 5'8", and the reach on the F800 is a little long for me. My shoulders are a little sore too.
The bike performed flawlessly...
