Martindktm, I researched adding a pump but, it sounds like alot of work to get it to work properly/consistently. The pump needs to be off when the gas is higher than the carb and on when lower than the carb. Also the pump needs to not restrict flow while off so that it doesn't interupt the gravity feed. I could just hit a switch when I go to reserve to turn the pump on I guess. I might get adventurous and try it?

Scott 3 gallons is plenty of fuel, all you need for that tank is some custom graphics to "beautify " it.

I am also interested in the rear disc guard...is it a weld on job?..cause that's all i could find for the 250 was one that welds on, but would love to find one that doesn't have to be welded.

Pump can stay there, on all the time it doesnt matter. She will pump all the time even if gravity could do the job by itself. Snowmobiles are like that for over well 40 years with no issue at all. Evenmany atv's have them now because of funny tank location. Get your internal mod done, put a pump, connect the inlet to the petcock outlet and pump outlet to the carb and bingo. For the vaccum for the pump you can plug it to the carb boot there's an inlet there for the smog crap I think.

Hey Scott I edited your post and added a space between some of the pics so it wouldn't be so wide, I hope that's OK..Thanks for sharing.

Justin, it is a Scott brand Shark Fin. Very strong unit & it replaces the stock aluminum caliper mount so it is not that much more weight.

Deej, thanks for the adjustment!

Martin, any advice on where to ge the vacuum pump or what a should google for? I looked around and didn't come up with much? Thanks for the help!

You want to use #DF44-211 it is small and it would work good.As previously mentioned hook the "pulse" line to the port that was rplugged during removal of the smog crap.the one at the front of the carb.
