Acerbis Tank & Enrichener

Acerbis Tank & Enrichener
When I first put my Acerbis tank on my 2006 I faced the petcock handle to the rear because there was a bit more space there. Removing some material on the **** allowed me to (barely) engage the enrichener past the fuel line.
When my back-ordered fuel pump arrived, I mounted it on the original petcock bracket which made it impossible to reach the petcock handle. In order to use the petcock on the Acerbis tank, I had to turn it around so that the handle faced forward. There wasn't enough room then to operate the enrichener.
I solved that by extending the enrichener shaft with a piece of speedometer cable. It flexes enough to bypass the petcock and is stiff enough to pull and push the enrichener.
I drilled a 1/8" hole in the end of the shortened shaft for the speedo cable and secured it with JB Weld. Now the **** on the end of the cable comes out to about the center of the frame member. It's easy to access with gloves on.
