Anyone concerned about damaging those "wings"?
I've got my Acerbis tank on the way, and my wife keeps reminding me that the rad shrouds on my CR125 were cracked to ****.
I guess it's pretty common to hit the rad shrouds when you fall over in the bush or on the trail.
Hopefully Acerbis built those wings with some strength to em.

Personally i dont like the side wings of that tank, i like the factory look better. What was the other tank that i saw somewhere, is it the ims tank? that just fits in the stock place, and the factory side panels just need a little trimming?

All the saddle bag tanks that I'm aware of, and aren't most saddle bag? I'm just getting back into biking after 35 years, they ALL were then, have a nipple at the lowest point on each side and a hose connecting the two so that the gas can pass from side to side. I agree: any gas lower than the petcock will not drain otherwise the reserve gas would be sucked out if a vacuum principle worked.
How has the tank worked after a period of use?

I do plan an acerbis installation on my bike and the plastic fitting and plunger of the choke seems to be the same size as we get on mikuni Vm round slide carburator on snowmobiles. We have a cable and a brass inser instead of a plastic one. From the pictures I think I could install a cable that bends instead of the rod and use the choke right on the handlebars. I think I will check in one of my many sled carb basket case to try to fit something. If it works Ill let you know what part from where I used.
