Ins. is mandatory here in IL. I just heard a statistic stating that 20% of drivers on the road do not have insurance. I am always hearing news stories about an accident where the clown that caused it did not have ins?

 

Here in Indiana you must show proof of at least liability insurance to register the bike. Of coarse once registered you can cancel your insurance and get a refund. Not that I would do such a thing......anymore.
