Default 8$ GPS mount

I bought some Easton handle bars that I thought were cool until I tried mounting my bark busters and GPS and realized 35mm mounts wern't a common thing. After 2 failed attemps to make a nice GPS mount I got the idea to use a 2 piece locking collar and small plate of steel. Luckily there is a bearing shop close to my house and was on the way home from work that had an 1 3/8 steel collar for 8$. I welded a plate to the collar and painted it, the gps cradle already had bolts with it and worked as a template.

I always had to adjust my RAM mount out of the way when fueling, it wasn't theft proof and stuck out like a sore thumb. You could also use these for 7/8 bars, fork clamps for a new blinker location etc. I'm going to try and use some for my bark busters but they need to mount near egg shaped upward bend in the bars wich might be a near impossible build.

+1 I always love when I see someone make their own, do it better, and spend less $$.
Nice work.
