I was going up this off camber hill, lost balance and tried to put my foot down to catch myself, well my foor still had about 3 feet to go until it hit any type of ground, so over I went.

3 feet!? Even Yao Ming might've dropped the bike.....

Nice job Deej. I got my 606 in yesterday and put it on tonight. The only problem was onceI got iton, I couldn't get it evened out on the rim. It's like 3-4mm low on one end and high by the same amount directly across from it. Same thing on both sides. I just need to get the rim centered in the tire but I can't seem to be able to get it to work. Did you encounter anything like this? When I put my previous tire on, I didn't have any trouble with it. It just went right on. but this 606 is giving me a little frustration. Duane

I was wondering if I was pinching it as well, but it seems like it's in there right. It's one of the super heavy duty tubes which is really thick and stiff. I only put it up to about 15 psi initially but it didn't seem like air was going to correct it. I might try that tomorrow and if it doesn't correct, I't just try to shift it around some and see if I can get it centered. I saw scat's KLR last week. Nice looking ride. It might be tough to get him out on the KLX again this summer.

Yea that might help, did you install the wheel on the bike? I am wondering if what you are looking at is a mold problem and not really off center. Hmmm, I also wonder if it is going to cause the tire to wobble or bounce. Could you take a pic or two? Let's get this thing figured out.

Back in April when we were on the Hillbilly dualsport ride in AR, My group leader had a flat rear tire on his DRZ. He performed the"McGiver tire change" flawlessly. Blocked it up with a rock, changed the tube and back on in about 20 -25 minutes. I was impressed! He did however use my CO2 cartridges which sped up the airing process.
