RE: 4500 OTD too much???
There is only one invoice price on automobiles, just because a dealer wants to play games or lie doesn’t mean that an actual invoice amount doesn’t exist.
Now the invoice amount does not usually reflect what the dealer actually paid for the vehicle as there are things like holdback and factory to dealer incentives that come into play but from a customers perspective these items don’t exist as few dealers are willing to part with this profit as it is typically used to cover the cost of keeping the doors open.
There are some other variables like regional advertising or local area marketing fees that can amount to as much as 3% of the invoice amount that is an actual fee that the dealer must pay and this is shown on an actual invoice.
To me a “good deal” is all in perception, if I have done my homework or am willing to part with a certain amount of $ for an item and I make the purchase I normally will not give it a second thought after the deal is done because inevitably someone will tell me that I got screwed.

agree. if you feel like you did good, that's all that matters. it's people like me that will hear your story and say whether or not I think you did do good. who cares what others think about your purchase. if you feel good about it, that's all that matters. I've said that from the git-go. There's always someone who gets a better deal or there's always going to be something better after you've bought whatever you bought. It's what keeps this country running- wants.

I only edit for typos or misspelled words if I can spot them. You know me better than that. Besides, I proofread each post for like 30 mins before posting to make sure I know I am getting my point across.
