41 mpg
learned a valuable lesson (coming to a stop on the middle of the freeway from 75 mph to a rolling stop)...typically fill up every morning...for 55 mile round-trip commute....they say stock gets 70 mpg...today...thought i try to do 3 trips...82 miles total...do have a moose racing jet kit and fmf q4 exhaust...i am going on the freeway about 65 mph to 80 mph the entire way....6,000 rpm to 8,500 rpm....on a stock full tank (roughly 2 gallons)...went a whopping 82 miles before the engine cuts off....even after switching to reserve, had to wait before it would start again..another 1 mile and rolled into a gas station....wow...i get 41 mpg...what's your mpg?
correction..if tank on "on position" is 1.5 gallons..than i guess i'm getting 55 mpg...

I have nearly same mods and on average it goes 85 miles till reserve and gets 64 mpg. If I go 95 miles without it cutting out I've forgot to change it back from reserve, don't ask me how I know that.

I get somewhere around 50 mpg with a re-jetted, HMF slip on and a 331cc, and mostly off-road desert riding. I'm not easy on the throttle, I know it can get better.
The only way to be reasonably sure how many mpg you get is to fill it up at the same pump to the same spot on the filler neck, and divide the total number of miles you went by the total gallons it takes to bring it to the same spot on the filler neck...and do this over and over to smooth out the variables. You can't go by when you go to reserve and assume you know how many gallons and tenths of gallons you used...it's just not that accurate.

I usually switch to reserve on the fly around 90 miles since fill up. This is 60 mpg. I check EVERY tank for the last 6,000 miles. 57 to 60 mpg is the average, low of 54 high of 63.
Regular gets better mileage than premium if your bike will burn it. I buy 89 octane (r+m/2) when I can.
I ride an SF 351, TM36-68. Commuting to work.

I dont ride my klx for fuel mileage, when it needs gas i put it in. With the new Clarke tank i went 100 miles and never hit reserve in colorado. My KLR is my gas saver road ride. it gets like 55mpg but its also a 650.
