Weber cams are ok, but generally your trying to squeeze more HP by opening up the cam timing... but with a 351 the porting openings are restricting the full use of the modded-cam. With a 250 the increase in cam performance is realized.
For the bang for the buck, porting is strictly for racer's trying to squeeze every HP out of the cc's.
If your putting a new weber cam in, go for torque at lower rpms, not the max high rpm mod.
If that were true then a dyno would show a significant drop off at high RPM's with 331+ cc's. From the charts i've seen posted around the site it appears that this only happens with the stock exhaust as the dyno #'s with aftermarket exhaust show power being produced all the way to redline.

well I finally got the 351 installed last night after work with the help of a few really good friends. got my 20 miles in and changed the oil and was in bed by 4am . Defiantly can feel the extra displacement and so far jetting seems to be working.

Congrats! The 351 is the only mod I've done where I really felt a difference.
