Cables
Some one asked about the return cable.

I had to re order the jets, I got the wrong ones. They were great about it. Niche cycle is where I bought the carb and jets.
Its at my shop so I start it up almostl every day. I only need about 1/2 to 3/4 choke and it starts right up with out me touching the throttle and Idles at 3 to 4 k rpm until I push the choke back in. It will then idle but falls directly on its face when I hit the throttle until the radiators are hot, then its fine. I rode it around the block once. Going 30 mph in 3rd gear I barely had the throttle cracked open. I marked 1/4 and 3/4 throttle on the handle so I know which jets to mess with.
Idle mixture screw was about 4 turns, so I got a bigger pilot jet. I aslo got a leaner needle and a couple of smaller needle jets. From the little bit I have driven it, I am getting black in the exhaust. Way too rich past idle.

Well, now that's the cat's pajamas!! Look how clean that is! It's like it was meant to be there!
Screw the TM33. Screw the TM33 right in the ear. That's pretty cool. If I wasn't so invested in a TM33, I'd be doing that.

And you can still get your tank on? Fuel petcock doesn't hit the top cable?
I have the Acerbis tank and there's no way the two would fit... I had to cut away some of that cable pulley on top and ditch the push cable.

Good to know...Acerbis is on the way and I was thinking BB351 & pumper for next winter's mod work.

Good point. I think the sump of all aftermarket tanks would go right into the space at the top of the carb. However, with Davids 250 motard version, maybe he's not interested in aftermarket tanks.

I ground nothing. Its truly plug and play. I WANTED the return cable to work, I have had some issues in the past....
The TM36 and TM36 pumper take different jets, so be sure to get the right ones. Learn from my screw up.
They ship the right jets today. I bought a P4 and P6 Needle Jet (came with a P8), a leaner needle, a 125, and 135 main jet (came with 130) along with a 15 and 17.5 pilot.
