I have the SF version. I, of course ride only street. My SF with all the free mods, the Power Bomb and Two brothers I was able to pull ayay from the other DRZ400s I ride with. Part of this I'm sure is because I am a fairly light rider @140#s and we also have one more gear than a DRZ. I can't wait to see their faces the next time I ride with them sitting on this BB351!

I rode GaryC's 09 with 351 kit this weekend, no comparison next to my bone stock 09, so much more power. Does not feel like the same bike at all. Pulled the front wheel up no problem.

Time to ante up Tom!!!
Still wondering about that gas mileage issue.
Next time out we both top off the tanks, i think i was less than full.
I realize that your bone stock lean carb will do better but,,,,,
50 miles till reserve for me and you say you get 80 till reserve???
That's huge.

I think you will like the 351 with pumper. I have only compared my 330 with pumper to SF stock and SF with jet kit and slip on. But to me its a significant level of power differnece between jetted with slip on and BB and pumper.
I would venture the jet/slipon vs BB/Pumper increse is 2-3 times the level of increase of jetting/slip on over stock.
Regarding crusing at 65 at a given RPM thats all gearing. If you dont change the gearing the RPM will be the same for a given speed with or without a BB and pumper. You will just get there faster.
Cheers Jim
