351 Enabled

Hey folks. As far as the dyno run, it was done on a stock tire with about 1500 miles on it. The sheet had the information on it "Winpep7" which I assume is either the brand of Dyno or the software. I had it done at Skagit Powersports, the place that had the 351 Motards for sale.
Thanks for the Tahuya guide offer and your right that place is covered with trails. Very easy to get lost which we have in our first few visits. I've been collecting my GPS bread crumb data evey time we go there. I found some software that allows you to upload maps to your Garmin unit. First I traced the Tahuya map, and used the bc data to make my map more accurate. It's been working really well, we don't get as lost as we used to.
That's also the beauty of the KLX, we get lost, we take the Highway back to the car.
One final thing I noticed with my 351 yesterday riding to work. My hands don't go numb. The KLX used to put my hands to sleep really bad. I got new bars and even used the liquid vibration dampening stuff, no luck. I guess the bike resonates different now so my hands get less vibration. Nice benefit.

Hey I did some checking, and it looks like we didn't give you a proper welcome to the forums, or maybe I lost it somewhere. So anyway, welcome and maybe we can get a group ride going soon.

Thanks for the welcome all. A Tahuya trip sounds fun.....not sure Washington weather will cooperate. I have no issues with getting muddy, but my "other half" isn't as enthusiastic about it as i am....

Hey, BFR!!
Would you mind telling me how much the 351 conversion cost to have done at Skagit? I was thinking that maybe on my way down south in December I would stop in and just get it done, If it isn't too expensive that is.
Thanks
