351 break in

I don't think you're wasting my time - I don't give a s#($. I think you're wasting YOUR time asking questions that have threads pages and pages long on the answers you're looking for. You could have had an answer already by searching instead of waiting for someone to decide to type out their experiences again.

Well, I should be getting my 351 on monday or tuesday and plan on putting it together next weekend. How did you break yours in? Easy or hard? Any heat cycles while it's still in the garage or just start and go? I know this may be opening a can of worms becasue everyone has their own ideas. I thought I seen somewhere here about the mototune break in, but couldn't find it.

No worries 2007 Green Machine. Everyone gets tested for not using the search button. Just takes a little patience at times.
I will have to agree with the ladyfied mototune being the most widely used by me probably. But I do mine within 20 miles of track time loading and unloading the rings running the gears but not 70. AFter the 20 miles and a fresh oil bath, it is game on.
Hope that you have your answers. Enjoy

I mentioned the 20 miles just as a rough estimate on the amount of track time I had before the actual racing started. The up to 100 miles on the first oil change is a good number I would think.
