I'm going riding.
I fully understand what you are saying. I will be the first to admit that I'm not the best with computers. Not trying to look for an excuse. Like I said in my previous post maybe I'm not using the right key words. I typed in 351 break in, and the first thing that came up was dan888 wheel bearing thread from a few weeks ago along with many other threads that have nothing to do with the 351 break in. Just for the record, I would say I do a search about 80% of the time before I create a new thread. I will give it more effort and time, but there is always the chance someone else or myself will ask the same thing that has already been talked about. I have always admired your knowledge on this bike and look forward to the furture. Hopefully there is no bad blood between us. So can we do a fist bump and move on. Thanks

Any heat cycles while it's still in the garage or just start and go? I know this may be opening a can of worms becasue everyone has their own ideas. I thought I seen somewhere here about the mototune break in, but couldn't find it.
Sometimes GOOGLE is your best search engine it took me 3 seconds to find these posts:

No worries 2007 Green Machine. Everyone gets tested for not using the search button. Just takes a little patience at times.

I will have to agree with the ladyfied mototune being the most widely used by me probably. But I do mine within 20 miles of track time loading and unloading the rings running the gears but not 70. AFter the 20 miles and a fresh oil bath, it is game on.

Hope that you have your answers. Enjoy

Yes, I do think I have all of my answers now. Well, maybe! I see you change oil after 20 miles. I was thinking most people do it after 100 miles. Google here I come!

I mentioned the 20 miles just as a rough estimate on the amount of track time I had before the actual racing started. The up to 100 miles on the first oil change is a good number I would think.

For important issues like breaking in a fresh top end I don't think it's a big deal at all to start a new thread. Get some fresh eyes on the matter.

Why? It's always the same. It's not going to change.

How's the bike running these days?!
