Well did it in about 3 hours. Everything went fine then putting the tank on I broke one of the cheap gas lines, so I thought fine I'll just go and buy some bulk line.! Wrong, well it was not bendable enough and hit my new 36mm carb so I had to make it work. Well rushing to get it done I drove a bolt with a ImPACT THRU THE STOCK TANK MY DAY WAS sh*t after that. Well I did ride it around the block quickly before I saw the hole. I still have the stock pipe (I'm waiting for my aftermarket one), anyway it had lots of pull then a big bog so I'm sure rejettings in order but I'll wait for the pipe. It did pull the front wheel up fast before the bog. Oh well. My new clarke tank was just ordered. I'll keep you updated on the bike.

Hey Kevin, sorry about the tank, but since you are getting the other one I guess its all good right? Sounds like you had some fun today. I would substitute the beer (because I hate the taste of beer) with Gin and Tonics, a Screwdriver or really any drink that disguises the taste of alcohol.Mmmmmm Fruit drinks.[8D]

 

Good idea. Open-up your airbox as well. The combo of aftermarket pipe and open air box just might do the trick...if you aregetting a 'rich bog.' It's hard to tell thedifference until you play around some.
