Lightbulb 331cc Bill Blue kit with stock CVK....?

I am awaiting a nice upgrade from Bill, and was wondering what jetting I should use on the stock carb. I have a Dynojet kit on the way also, so I will have a few choices of jets to play with. My riding is mostly sea level with an occasional trip up to about 2000. I have removed my snorkel, and have a DAMOS slip-on exhaust, which I believe comes stock on the D-Tracker over here. All help is appreciated.....

I'm curious to see what you think - I've been looking at these kits for a while.

Be sure to report back to base!

I had the 340 sleeve with the cvk before fcr.....Sea Level in Florida....132 main, 40 pilot, ntc1 needle 2nd notch.....130 main seemed real light tan on the plug...it may have been ok.

No lid, full Muzzy.

post results.

follow the dj kit, it will get you in the ballpark- I have bills 331 kit and I love it but I also have fcr carb- so that jetting will not help you. I would also do the crank vent mod as well..

I am planning on starting with the 132 main, but the kit doesn't have any pilot jets included. Also, the DN0352 is the needle I will be using. Any thoughts, or am I just going to have to experiment and get real good at taking out the carb?
I am guessing this is a good time to remove the AIS, as well as the carb de-ice while I am there. I will probably do the PCV mod to the crankcase, and drill the airbox too. And install the IMS tank, and Vapor dash. Looks like a busy weekend coming when I get all this stuff in the mail.

Dusty,

What did you end up using for jetting? I am doing the 300 upgrade next week.

With the 132 main, 2nd notch, and 2.5 turns out it seemed a little off, but ran well from idle to 1/4 and from 3/4 up to WOT, with a little hesitation in between. I ran with the lid on and no snorkel, so maybe without the lid would have been better.
