Hmmm...308. Hadn't seen that one before. NATO will probably adopt that one...wink, wink.

Price has been dropped to 359.95. This a true 308 big bore kit. Not like the 78mm kit which only brings you to 292cc.

Hello CPR1. Could you tell me how much the 308 piston and pin weigh compared to stock. I had a 2009 klxsf that I did the 351 kit to, but was disappointed in how much vibration it added. I now have a 2018 klx.

the piston is only a few grams heavier than stock and the pin is the same weight as stock.

The 308 piston, rings and pin is 60 grams heavier than stock. I guess that counts as a few.

I used to pick tires with an eye to keep vibrations down. Later I decided traction was more important, so I can go faster and the vibrations somehow disappear when I'm having fun!

Yeah, I can see how those that use the klx as mostly a dirt weapon wouldn't really notice the vibes from a 351, which is 75 grams heavier than stock. However, use it for any on road commute over 5 miles and the added vibes makes it feel like your riding the latest and greatest cobbled fart machine from mainland China. Also tire vibes can be solved quite easily. There's no way I'm going to be able to take 50 grams from this piston assembly and guarantee longevity.
