wow, deal of the century. why go 331 so soon? I say cherish your good deal and do the 331 this winter. I mean it would be like a couple hours or so and you could be running 300cc for free compared to spending the extra now for a few more cc's. That there may be the best deal I've ever seen anyone get here. Hope the parts are as good as they say they are.

Yea, I would wait till winter. All the time it will take to re-jet, put the parts in, open up the airbox, and tune it to where it needs to be can be fairly quick or time consuming. If you don't have all the tools and parts already than you should just wait. The more time the bike is apart, the less riding time you get[:'(]

If I was to buy it, I'd get it sent to Kustom Kraft first,If it were possible. Order the Jets and Snorkle,Then when I got it, it'd be ready to go, have it together in an afternoon.
Rather than either puting the 300 cylinder on KNOWING you're eventually going to bore it out. Why not do it all in one smash and then there is muuch less waisted tiime and money. You would haveto jet and tune for the 300. Then when you were ready to go 331, you would haveto wait all that time to ship it out, and get it back, then put it together, and then tune AGAIN!
I would DEFINETLY without a doubt bore it out first. Especially if you're paying for someone else to do it.
Just think, that extra time difference between using the 300, and then going 331 after useing it, compared to just doing it all at once. Minimal down time for the bike.

Congrats by the way!!!
If it wasn't for visiting the damn bike shop the other day and stumbling across a new big bore machine... I'd have it on the way.
