Hi graham,

If you are really concerned about not having enough fuel then there's always a BEET higher volume injector that you can buy from this site. Quite a few people in Thailand, Indonesia & Japan really rate this injector for the klx big bore kits. btw the original injector can just about feed a 331 kit but not a 351.

BEET : Up 315cc Injector bore corresponding single NASSERT [0679-K97-00]

The API ecu programmable is a fully tweekable laptop option. which i have slightly advanced my ignition timing & 5% more fuel injection than the standard API ECU, which i did myself on the laptop! And my bike goes a lot quicker than any other D-tracker that I have got to ride. There's lot's more to fiddle with on the API but it's to complicated for me to understand fully so injection was an easy place to start, with the instructions crudely(ish) translated from Thai to English. One day I will be able to tune it properly!!! A simpler option would be the juice box pro or better still the power commander v but the API ecu in the right hands is by far the best way to tune your bike.

I'm hoping Marcelino will be giving us EFI users a master class on the API ecu, as he has been testing it for some time now!!

Thanks Joel, I am checking the site now and loving the translations. Comforting to know that there is a higher volume injector available.. I will be installing the Electronic Jet Kit from Dobeck performance in the next week or so and will report on performance as soon as its fitted. Seems simple enough to tune according to their site and it comes pre set for 250 efi with stage 1 mods.
I cannot wait for more from Marcelino.

Hi,
Here's a little taste of the PDF that comes with the api software! There's 20 pages of info that is at best 90% able to explain how to use the software. It can control absolutely everything, even what temperature you want the fan to come on!

If only the instructions we're put together better with English speaking technicians available to talk to then I would 100% recommend the API programmable ECU but it isn't so I can't......shame

And chatbovon has NOT answered an email or his phone in over 2 weeks......he was my tech support & translator when it came to tinkering with this software..!!!

Joel that looks like a really neat tool that will take a lot of specialised time and effort to get optimum results. Be interesting to see what Marcelino comes up with, and whether it is worth the power gains vesus Dollars. What did it cost? I paid 250 USD for the EJK, shipped to Seychelles. Should be able to fit and test next week.

The initial cost of the performance ecu was 3,500thb ($110). Then chatbovon a member from Thailand on this site told me of an upgrade special price of an extra 3,500thb to trade in my performance api ecu bought from Kawasaki Thailand to get the unlimited programmable ecu with software/usb connector etc etc. I think the basic price now for a unit is 12,000thb ($360) with no trade in or discount! There is no other unit that does so much, the EJK & TBR juice box just add more fuel to the injector but the API controls the entire engine down to the smallest detail!!

Hi everyone I'm new to the site, I have a D Tracker x bought from new this year and like most very dissatisfied with the performance. I've been reading a lot of info about all the mods as I am wanting to rework this bike from Tyer's to tail light and everything in between could anyone suggest where in Thailand or even better if Issan I can send my bike and get started.
Thanks

Any one tried that 340 yet? Is it a good compromise? Hows the hp and torque numbers of the 331 vs 351? Most of the thread I find have had all the dyno chart pictures deleted I'm wondering if the 351 makes more torque and less horsepower, but the 340 (just maybe) might less torque and more horsepower? Or is the increase in CC on this bike directly proportional to more overall power
