I don't think the 351 kit will get the KLX up to the horsepower of the DRZ. The DRZ with free mods, jet kit and exhaust makes about 40 hp. However, if you take into consideration the horsepower to weight ratio of each bike, the 351 kitted KLX will probably feel close to DRZ in terms of power (I hope so, anyway). I have to say, owning both bikes, I love the way the KLX handles, I love the power of the DRZ. Attention Kawasaki! Get to work on the KLX450S!

Lol.. Here in Sri Lanka you can register anything.. Even a motocross bike (and run it on the roads too).. So therefore even a KLX450R,WR450F,CRF450X etc can be easily registered.. But problem is a Bike like what i listed earlier costs like $15,000.. And I dont have that kind of money and my KLX cost me $4250 and had a mileage of 2800kms..

Sad but true *sigh*.. Now to find money to get the 350 Kit to drown my sorrows lol..

As I get my '06 dialed in I think it might be time for a displacement increase for me. Does Bill Blue have a web site where everything he offers is detailed? Does he still offer the 331 kit, or only the 351 now?

I believe he is still waiting for the parts to come in on the 351 kit. I can't comment on the 331. The best thing to do is to send him an email, he is very helpful and quick to reply.

Just in case anyone is thinking of getting a 331 big bore kit from Kustom Kraft. They're website is very out of date with piston info, Mark from KK told me they no longer use the JE pistons as they are way to expensive! They are now using Wossner pistons from Germany. I think JE pistons would be available on request at an extra cost but Mark tells me they are happy with the Wossner brand.

Hi Joel
I am thinking of buying the KK big bore kit for my EFI, still have concerns about getting enough fuel in from stock injectors. Have a Electronic Jet Kit on its way./ Please tell me about the ECU you are using.
