2nd accelerator cable

2nd accelerator cable
Anyone removed the second accelerator cable? Removed mine and I noticed more snappy throttle return and better throttle response. Haven't tried riding bike due to injury.
Was thinking this is the same principle if you changed to aftermarket throttle grips which only uses 1 cable.

its for push pull throttle and usless on this bike but on another note i think your but dyno is off becaose it doesn't change power delivery to unhook it, and as far as throttle tubes some people cange them to get the throttle to open quicke with less rotation, i put a protaper on because it has bearings in the tube and is silky smooth

It's possible your return cable is sticky or such and may have been putting some drag on the pull cable. Other than that there's no effect.

If your pull cable broke on the trail, could you scavenge the push cable to be used as a pull? I haven't looked at the ends to see if they are the same, but, I imagine they would be....
