Well one bad thing about black is that this plastic scratches super easy. It won’t be shiny for too long. Not a big deal really. It is a dual sport and will get dirty and scratches. The camo panels are nice though it’s just the gloss black front fender headlight and rear fender. The rear will be covered by the rear rack, so really just the front fender.

Lots of good parts showing up. I will take pics and add later. Installed pro Taper SE high bars, new levers, pro taper pillow grips, led light bulb. Got my exhaust, power commander, hand guards ,rear rack , ais removal kit, O2 sensor delete , Sena Bluetooth. Waiting on hand guard mounts, skid plate and snorkel.

Here is a pick of the handlebars, hand guards , grips and I don’t think you can see the levers but they are are there. I bought the G2 fork mounts for my hand guards but they didn’t work for my application. That was a $50 mistake. Oh well if anyone sees this and wants to try them for their bike let me know. Will make a good deal on them.

T-Rex rear rack installed today. Emperor racing skid plate arrived today. It’s bare aluminum but I can’t leave it like that so I am going to throw it in the blast cabinet and then powder coat it black. Yes I have a powder coated machine and an oven. Makes things real easy and nice to customize.

Today I powder coated my skid plate. Came out awesome. So then I removed the AIS and charcoal canister to clean up the emissions crap. I installed the delkavic exhaust, removed the secondary throttle plate, deleted the O2 sensor and installed the power commander. Bike sounds a lot bettter. I have the spark arrester baffle installed and removed my stock snorkel. The Kdx snorkel will be here tomorrow. Took it out around the block and there is a noticeable increase in power. I will continue to break in the engine then I will book a dyno session to fine tune a map for the power commander to see if it can be improved.

Went for a 100mile ride today. This thing is a blast even on the street. Got 66 mpg this fill up. Bike is running good. Ordered a 15tooth front sprocket and a gear indicator. Hate not knowing what gear I am in. Even my 79 Suzuki 425 came with a factory gear indicator.
here are a couple pics.

Just installed the 15t front sprocket and my gear indicator. I love the gear change. I don’t have to short shift 1st to get out into traffic and 60mph is below 6000 rpm.
