Default 2020 KLX250 too lean?

I am having issues with my 2020 KLX 250 that I've had for about 3 months. I notice recently I have to start the bike twice, 1st time runs for about a second or two then shuts off, I have adjusted my idle up to about 1600-1800 same issue, tried giving it some gas on first start and no luck. I always have to start the bike twice on cold start, hot start fires up first try.

I have also noticed my pipe is turning blue and it seems to lack low end power. Does this sound like it's running to lean, and if so are there any other ways to correct this other than a fuel controller like the EJK? This is my first bike so forgive me if it seems like a simple question. Perhaps the lack of low end is just the way it is, still planning the 13t cam shaft sprocket in the coming months but thought maybe it was something other than the gearing.

3 months !

You have a warranty problem for the dealer to look into..

Reset the idle back to where it is suppose to be..Take it to dealer and tell them you seem to have an air leak in the induction system, faulting ECM programming, or perhaps a bad injector.

they do tend to run lean from the factory it seems. My exhaust pipe is a little blue/purplish as well but it has never had trouble starting even on cold or hot days being a 2018 EFI model. So yeah, you might have an issue with Kawasaki to get it repaired or replaced under warranty. As for torque I feel like mine hits pretty good from like 4k all the way up to like 7k and then it feels like it starts to die out according to the butt dyno. Bone stock.

I have had simiral issues recently. I have to start my bike twice but only when it’s fully cold. It has be doing this since a month or so.
Also last time I was riding I noticed that after quite a long ride it didn’t want to start up. Ran just as good as usual but had hold the start button three time for 3 seconds untill it finally started. Never did it before so it is pretty strange

Now that I think about it, my 2019 Triumph Speed Twin was a bit finnicky when starting from cold. This went on for a while, maybe stopped after the first service at 600 miles. It would not start on the first try, but always took two tries of the start button to fire up. Perhaps the problem you have is similar. I would seek a warranty fix.
